Yin Yoga

Yin yoga is a deep, meditative, and reflective practice that links an asana practice to ancient Chinese philosophies and Taoist principles. While “yang” yoga focuses on your muscles, yin yoga targets the deep connective tissues, like fascia, ligaments, joints, and bones. This practice gives you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body.

Yin yoga is unique in that you are asked to relax in the posture, soften the muscles and move closer to the bone. Poses are held for 3-5 minutes. The time spent in these postures is much like time spent in meditation. We offer two types of Yin classes: Candlelight & Yin and Yin w Reiki.  Come experience the extra healing these classes offer.
