Yoga Nidra, also known as yogic sleep, is a highly beneficial guided meditation. During a session, you will be led through breathing exercises and body scans that draw your attention inward, putting you into a state of consciousness that sits on the border between waking and sleeping. This allows you to reach a deep state of relaxation without falling asleep. In this passive and active state, our bodies can rest. In the Beginner Series we answer some of the most commonly asked questions including: What is Yoga, Types\Lineages of Yoga, Benefits of Yoga, What you need to practice, Yoga terms and vocabulary and more. We will go over and break down of the most common yoga poses beginners are likely to see AND teach you how to modify the poses to work for YOUR body!
This training continues our learning tradition of lecture, discussions, self-treatment and clinical practice with classmates and the community. We explore the traditional Reiki symbols and integrate them into our hands-on practice, drawing from their esoteric, traditional as well as intuitive meanings. We learn to practice distance Reiki treatment, and we learn to extend our practice out into the world in creative and wonderful new ways. This class helps us deepen our personal growth
Join us for a wellness session that combines two powerful forms of healing. Utilizing crystal and alchemy bowls, chimes, drums, a crystal pyramid along with Reiki you will gain access to frequencies that will contribute to your healing and rejuvenation. While you are relaxing and being bathed with the sound delivered, Sharyn will offer hands-on Reiki. This is a phenomenal healing experience, you will leave refreshed and lighter! Intuitive messages given at end of session (if interested).
Level 3 adds worlds of focus, clarity, comfort and confidence to one’s practice. At this point in training it is necessary not to provide new Reiki tools, but rather to go within and fully integrate the tools we already have. Students spend time exploring both their personal relationship with Reiki and their development as a practitioner. Must be attuned to Reiki II for at least a year
In this foundational workshop you will receive an introduction to what Reiki is and will be guided through simple, self-healing hand positions. Students will receive a printout of the hand self-healing hand positions to take home with them for practice. At the end of the workshop each student will receive hands-on Reiki by Sharyn, Reiki Master-Teacher. This workshop is open to anyone, who wants a better understanding of what Reiki is, how it works, and what is possible with Reiki.
