Welcome New Students

At Green Lotus Yoga & Wellness, we understand that starting something new can be intimidating, especially when it comes to yoga. Our mission is to create a supportive space where students can overcome fears, embrace balance, and embark on a journey to well-being.

Please see below for some tidbits in helping you attend your first class worry-free!

What Do I Need?

Aside from your amazing and wonderful self who has a desire to learn here are a few things....

  • Attire:

    • wear something comfortable that allows for easy movement. You do not need special yoga clothes - just something comfy cozy that you feel relaxed and flexible in

    • yoga is practiced barefoot, no shoes on the yoga floor. If you want to wear socks, please wear grippy \ yoga socks to avoid slipping

  • Mats and Props

    • we have mats, blocks, straps, blankets, bolsters, eye pillows and yoga mats that you can borrow. We do not believe in renting anything that will help you and your practice. You are always welcome to bring your own mats and props, just know we have you covered if need be!

  • Water

    • staying hydrated is paramount. Please stay hydrated before, during and after class (especially in a more rigorous flow)
