Allie

Allie discovered yoga as a teenager through her background in dance, and returned to it over the years as a way to come back to her body and find steadiness in daily life. What began as a physical practice gradually became a deeper exploration of meditation, breath, embodiment, and yoga philosophy. Allie's classes are slow, calming, and accessible to all bodies, with an emphasis on thoughtful modifications and creating space for each student’s individual experience. Drawing from yin, slow vinyasa flow, and meditation practices, Allie invites students to quiet the mind, tune into sensation, and approach themselves and their practice with curiosity and non-attachment. She hopes students leave class feeling lighter, more present, and at ease within themselves. Allie completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training with East+West Yoga in Bali, Indonesia, in 2023 and has additional training in yin yoga and Reiki. When she’s not on her mat, Allie works for a local nonprofit, loves to sew and knit, and spends as much time at the beach as possible.
